Olympic Sculpture Park

There are SO many cool parts of the Olympic Sculpture Park. We highly recommend having shoes to walk around in after our ceremony. You can see the Alexander Calder eagle sculpture featured on our invites, walk north on the Elliot Bay trail for gorgeous views and parks, or walk south to enjoy the Overlook walk and Pike Place Market.

Hang Out in Fremont Neighborhood

Home to our reception venue and the Seattle Troll, the Fremont neighborhood is full of cute shops and really good food. Our favorite food spots are Made in House and Local Tide. On Sundays, Fremont also has a funky street market full of crafts, food, and people watching.

Gasworks Park

Gasworks Park is a quirky park with historic gas plant structures and rolling hills. It is also right by the Fremont neighborhood and on the Burke-Gilman trail!

Water Taxi to West Seattle

If you have an afternoon to spare, we highly recommend biking or walking downtown to catch the King County Water Taxi to West Seattle. Once you get to West Seattle, you can hang out Alki Beach. Who knows, maybe you will even see an orca???

Day Trip to Bainbridge Island

Try a day trip to Bainbridge island - you can leave right from downtown Seattle and don’t need a car. Get the poke from Hi-Life right off the ferry and visit the art museum for free. The ferry ride alone makes this a quintessential Seattle summer experience.
